An Executive Member of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) and Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church International, Apostle Samuel Amponsah-Frimpong, has called on the church to portray God’s kingdom life to fully manifest the kingdom of God in our communities through love, good works, and impactful living.

Speaking at the All Ministers Conference at the Pentecost Convention Centre, Apostle Amponsah-Frimpong drew on Luke 17:20–21 to emphasize that the kingdom of God is within believers and must be visible in their conduct. “If the society wants to see the kingdom, they must see it through the church. The church exists to express the love of God to the world through our godly conduct,” he noted.

He explained that God’s love must not only be preached but demonstrated practically, citing 1 John 4:7–8: “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” According to him, Christians were saved and integrated into the church to extend the good works of Christ, as captured in John 14:12.

Impactful Living

Defining what he called “impactful Living,” Apostle Amponsah-Frimpong said it means “living a life that makes a lasting, positive difference in the lives of others, society, and the world at large.” He urged Christians not to merely survive but to contribute meaningfully to making the world a better place, leaving behind a legacy of hope and transformation.

Highlighting the uniqueness of the church, he stressed that it is a community of the elect, founded by Christ Himself, and built on the solid rock of faith. He encouraged visibility and excellence in ministry, stating that the church is meant to be seen and serve as light to the world: “A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. God wants the church to be visible and impactful.”

He cautioned against attacks on thriving churches, describing them as works of the enemy aimed at undermining the body of Christ. “When a good church like the Church of Pentecost is being attacked, do not rejoice. The prosperity and visibility of such churches should inspire us to protect and support them,” he urged.

Concluding his message, Apostle Amponsah-Frimpong reaffirmed that the church, anchored on Christ the Rock, remains strong and unshakable: “The gates of hell can never prevail against the church. As long as you remain anchored in it, no enemy can bring you down.”

The All Ministers Conference brought together thousands of church leaders from across Ghana and beyond to reflect on the theme of building impactful and Christ-centered church.
