GPCC Holds Orientation for New Member Churches
The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) on 24th July held an orientation for its new member churches at the Royalhouse Chapel International. The new members were enlightened on the Council’s vision, mission statement, the Constitution among others.
Leading the orientation were the General Secretary of GPCC, Apostle Immanuel Tettey, and the Council’s Treasurer, Rev. Dr. Francis Sey. Apostle Tettey took participants through the GPCC Constitution, its core values, and the significance of belonging to the Council. He emphasized that membership goes beyond affiliation and requires a commitment to uphold the integrity, unity, and mission of GPCC.
Promote Unity
“The GPCC exists to be a prophetic voice in the nation, promote unity in the body of Christ, and contribute to national development. As members, you are now part of this vision, and we expect you to represent these values in your ministries and communities,” Apostle Tettey stated.
On his part, Rev. Dr. Francis Sey addressed the financial obligations of member churches, explaining the importance of financial contributions in sustaining the Council’s operations and initiatives. He outlined the processes for financial accountability and encouraged transparency in their dealings.
The orientation also highlighted the benefits of GPCC membership, which include access to networking opportunities, representation on national platforms, participation in peacebuilding initiatives, and involvement in socio-economic development programs.
The session ended with an appreciation from the leaders of the new member churches for the guidance and pledged their commitment to uphold the principles of GPCC.
This orientation forms part of GPCC’s structured process of integrating new members to strengthen its mission of fostering unity and moral integrity within Ghana’s Christian community.
